It has been a long and cold winter. Spending time indoors has given me and Logan an opportunity to become buddies.
I've given him some pointers on how to dress. I also gave up my highchair and moved over to the big boy chair so we can enjoy meals together. He's not much of a conversationalist yet.
If he keeps following my lead, he's going to do pretty well for himself.
All of my friends are turning the big 2. So I've been very busy on the birthday circuit. Luckily Logan is able to tag along and join the fun. We headed to Plymouth to celebrate Virginia's big day. I spent most of the time playing with the trains. I'm going through a choo-choo phase right now.
I really can't get enough of trains. Here I am at Jack and Fiona's birthday party. I had a blast taking the train for a spin around the track.
When I wasn't on the choo-choo train, I was jumping around with my buddies Jack, Fiona and Alex.
I've really improved my jumping skills and can get both feet off the ground now. By the time I got to Tatiana's 4th birthday party, I was ready to show Papa Jim my skills. He likes to watch me jump and see how high I can get.
Now I need to work on my jump shot.
Auntie Kathie helped Elena and Elizabeth with their jumping during the party too.
Joey, Parker, Tatiana and Emme weren't far behind. Logan had to sit this one out. But he enjoyed a bottle with Mommy and some quality time with Great-Grandma Rose and Auntie Patty.
Logan has two teeth and is interested in expanding his food options...it may be a little too early to tell but I think he's going to have a penchant for pizza.
Just wait until Logan is able to have some cake. Cake is the best. When I hear the word party, I respond with "cake!"
Going to all the birthdays parties is getting me excited for my 2nd birthday coming up after St. Patrick's Day. This year for St. Patty's Day, Daddy and Logan completed a road race with our friends Joe and Grace.
Looking good Daddy!
