For Easter, we packed up the family, LOTS of gear and headed to Florida to visit Nana and Papa Picariello. But before we left, Nana Nancy and I got into the Easter mood by decorating some eggs.
After touching down in Florida, Logan and I tried to blend in with the alligators.
We were so excited to see our grandparents and enjoy warm weather. Time to play in the pool and catch some sun.
After the LONG process of getting ready (sunblock, bathing suit, hat, repeat) it was time to swim. Logan had fun floating around with Mommy.
I had a blast inventing new pool games like 'Horseshoe hats' with Uncle Tarn.
During the week, we did lots of fun activities including a trip to the Naples Children's Museum. It was awesome. There were lots of things to explore including a grocery store, which made Papa Rick feel right at home.
I was very brave and walked across the glass floor with gators below. As you can see, I held onto the railing and was a little nervous.
Meanwhile, Logan was busy trying to master the forward crawl. He can move backward and side-to-side but hasn't figured out how to go forward yet.
We spent one day at the beach. The sound of crashing waves reminded Logan of his sleep machine at home.
Meanwhile, me and Papa collected shells and played in the sand.
Another day we went to the train museum. This was amazing since I love my "choo-choos." There was a real locomotive and lots to see. It was fun for the whole family (but mainly me).
We even took a ride on a small train. All Aboard!!!!
Finally, Bunny Fest was here. I got to show Logan the ropes since it was my second time-around.
Last year, I could barely walk. This year, I bounced around like Peter Rabbit himself.
I also got to feed the animals myself.
I took a train ride with my pal Auntie Diana.
When it came time to meet with the Easter Bunny, Logan was excited
but I had my reservations
See you later Easter Bunny.
The second time I spotted the Bunny, on Easter Sunday, I was a little friendlier.
Mostly because the Bunny gave me a chocolate egg.
My favorite part of the week was walks with Sophie and giving her "more treats."
Can't wait for next year. See you all soon!
